Pastor, community advocate, humanitarian, conference speaker and broadcaster, Richard G. Boen, was born on April 27th, 1944 in Godley, Texas. His parents, businessman and entrepreneur Hubert C. Boen and educator Charlene N. Boen were charitable benefactors in their community, and to whom their son credits for his own integrity, discipline and self-reliance. From a very young age, he was devoted to the gospel.

In 1978 Richard resigned from Sheridan Christian Center as the youth Director after graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma.

Now, some 25 years later serving in the ministry, he pastors one of Arizona's fastest growing churches." Named The New Living Church, A multiracial, nondenominational church with many active internal and outreach ministries.

Often referred to as an "Apostle of Faith," Richard has made great strides in Arizona to help turn around the lives of the homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, single mothers, and others in life threatening circumstances.

Also The Transformation Treatment Program, "12 Steps and Beyond" for drug and alcohol abusers;

Richard has been to several prisons to minister in person, most recently at McAlester maximum security prison in Oklahoma.

To reach the greater religious community, Richard preaches the gospel on his daily talk show "A Check Up From The Neck Up"! That focuses on many of the pressing topics and situations that affect the church and the Body of Christ.

Richard is the Senior Pastor of The New Living Church, a non-profit organization that is the fastest growing church in the white mountains of AZ.

He is also the founder and director of the Richard Boen Ministries, which employs his other aptitudes as author, and Motivation speaker.

He is the author of "Special Forces Training Manual" Training God's people to do God's Will!.

He has been a frequent guest on several national programs as a source of spiritual advice and inspiration. Many Who's who frequently asked for his wisdom and counsel.

Richard lives in Arizona with his wife Patricia.
